Recently, the 4th China CSR Pioneer Forum and the 2021 Award Ceremony hosted by the Peoples’ Daily International Finance News was officially launched, aiming to reward the companies and institutions who have made outstanding contributions to the social responsibilities and ESG (Environment, Society, Governance), express the industry’s recognition of the responsible companies, and guide more companies to pay attention to and practice the CSR and ESG.

CREAT was awarded the “Annual Social Responsibility Contribution Enterprise Award” for its outstanding performance in the CSR such as anti-epidemic, disaster relief, energy conservation, environmental protection and etc.

Corporate social responsibility is also known as corporate ethical responsibility, that is, while seeking to maximize profits, companies should also shoulder broader social responsibilities. In the specific implementation, it must not only conform to the national strategy, but also be able to solve specific issues in combination with one's own industry, region and community.

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council has included ESG as the key task for enterprise to fulfill their CSR previously. It means that it has become a trend for companies to practice ESG concept, which focuses on environment, society and corporate governance performance, and will profoundly affect the direction of companies’ development.

At the beginning of 2020, Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, Changping District, renovated and upgraded the ward. CREAT launched the power supply project quickly during the lockdown period and fully cooperated with the construction work to efficiently promote the equipment commissioning.

In July 2021, the heavy rains in Henan Province triggered catastrophic disaster in Zhengzhou city and other places in Henan Province. From Jul. 19th, 2021, CREAT and the 2 subsidiaries have organized electrical maintenance personnel and equipment to assist relief efforts. On Jul. 21st, CREAT donated transformer equipment and switchgear to Henan province, including 15 switchgears to Xinmi Power Supply Company of SGCC, and 20 transformers to Xinxiang County Power Supply Company of SGCC.

In addition, CREAT has been sending technical service team to provide assistance to Tibet from Sep. 2019, and participate in the construction of 110kV substations in Tibet to help solving the long-term insolated grid operation, and power shortage problems in Ali area, Tibet.

In the future, CREAT will inject more ESG elements into corporate strategy while fulfilling CSR, to enhance governance capabilities and drive long-term sustainable development.
